Hello Mom!

Congratulations on welcoming your new bundle of joy! The journey of motherhood is both beautiful and challenging, and taking care of yourself after childbirth is crucial for your own well-being and that of your baby. "Nutrition and Healthy Habits for New Moms" is a comprehensive course designed to guide you through the importance of postpartum nutrition and how to take care of your body effectively during this critical period.

So Happy You're Here!

We at Simple Start Nutrition are both moms! Chris has two kids and Amanda has a new little one. And guess what, even though we're dietitians with over 25 years of combined experience, we still had to research post partum nutrition. It's not easy to find, and it's certainly not taught to everyone, even dietitians!

Once we realized how hard it was, not only to find the information, but to actually follow it after having a baby, we knew we had to help.

This guide is designed to sift through all the information out there and only give you the best nutrition recommendations backed by research, and all the resources you need to make it as easy as possible to follow because putting it into practice is the hardest part- so we're going to make it as easy as possible!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have access to the course?

You’ll have lifetime access as long as this course exists. Including any updates we make along the way.

Can I get this covered by insurance?

Some insurance providers cover the course, or if you have an HSA or FSA you can check into using it for the course as well. We will be happy to provide a receipt or invoice if you want to submit it for reimbursement, just let us know.

Does this include one on one counseling?

It does not. This is a purely self study guide (don’t worry, you don’t have “study”). However, most insurance companies do offer nutrition counseling for free, which would be a great compliment to the course. Some mom's have specific issues they need help with that the course didn't dive into- like postpartum preeclampsia, other moms just need help with their specific situation, like going back to work, or multiple kids, etc. What ever the situation we would love to help.

What does this course include?

Besides the eight lessons you can watch whenever, wherever you want, it includes an extensive PDF with all the lessons summarized for easy reference, tons of recipes, and plan ahead meals, a snack guide, a grocery list, and a printable list of ideas to bring the new mom. Also, there is an exclusive Facebook group you’ll have access to for live support from Chris and Amanda, as well as a community of new moms!

Bethany

Once I had a baby I focused all of my attention and energy on my baby girl’s health and wellness and neglected myself. Amanda and Chris have created a course that empowers mamas to take care of their babies and themselves! This would be a great baby shower, Mother’s Day, or just because gift for a soon-to-be or new mom in your life or yourself!”

Kelly

“As a first time mom who considers herself relatively healthy, all of a sudden when I found out I was having a little one I felt lost on what I should be doing nutritionally to keep my body healthy to sustain my own life while growing a new one. There’s so much information out there that can be overwhelming so I really appreciated this course for hitting all of the main points while being clear and concise. The videos are easily digestible and the handouts are well thought out and easy to read. And all of the information is all in one place so I don’t have to spend hours scouring the internet for resources. I have not given birth yet but I am so glad I found this course to help me prepare for the fourth trimester.”
